Position Summary
Administers patient care in an area within a hospital or inpatient/observation setting, where acute care patients receive active treatment
for injuries, illnesses, medical conditions, or post intervention with assessment.
The Injury Prevention Coordinator supports the Trauma Quality Team by leading and coordinating injury prevention initiatives. This role uses trauma registry trends, community assessment findings, and local epidemiological data to identify prevention priorities, develop targeted outreach strategies, and support education efforts that reduce injury risk across the community.
